Nathan Bageant, CEO

 Nathan graduated from Cape Fear Community College's Occupational Therapy Assistant program in 2013 to begin his career in healthcare.  He has worked as a COTA and Rehab Director in Short Term Rehab overseeing Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy.  He has taken the responsibility of CEO of Coastline Therapy Group, LLC to serve the Wilmington community in a larger capacity. Nathan is also a licensed General Contractor and continues to hold the license for Bayan Construction in Topsail Island. Nathan and his wife, Kim, look forward to working together to build a company which fills the therapy needs of Southeastern North Carolina.   

Kim Bageant, CFO

 Kim received a B.S. in Mathematics from ECU and a M.S. in Mathemtics from UNCW. She is currently teaching mathematics for both Cape Fear Commmunity College and UNC at Wilmington. Using her math degree, Kim has also taken on the responsibility of CFO of Coastline Therapy Group, LLC. Nathan and Kim have been married since 2008 and have 3 beautiful children: Emma (8 years old), Livvy (5 years old), and Dutch (2 years old). This busy mom works hard for her family and for her business!  

Alyson Nance, Director of Marketing

Prior to moving to the pediatric therapy world, Alyson worked in publishing for 20 years and owned her own consulting company.  She now works with private practices who focus on Occupational, Speech and Physical Therapy for children.  In her role with Coastline Therapy Group, Alyson will focus on marketing, referral development, contract development and retention and recruitment of Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapists. As a graduate of UNC-Wilmington, she is excited to be back in the Wilmington area.  Alyson and her husband, Lew have one daughter, Caroline who is attending the University of South Carolina.  Alyson is grateful to be a part of the Coastline Therapy Group team and her part in making an impact in a child’s life.   

Bianca Lopez, Front Desk Admin

Bianca, local to Wilmington, NC for over 10 years, lingered long after attending UNC Wilmington for Philosophy and Religion. She has since, been an integral part of the physical therapy community. She brings her own southern hospitality and charisma into the work environment, making sure each and every client feels welcomed and appreciated. Bianca is also an active participant in the local art community; she greatly enjoys promoting and distributing her artwork for various charities and festivals. She’s also a huge plant lady and dog mom, so feel free to show her pictures of your fur babies or plant babies.

Cathryn Altdoerffer, CCC-SLP

Speech Therapy Team Leader, Cathryn, attended the University of Tennessee to obtain her M.S. in Speech Language Pathology. Cathryn then moved to Las Vegas, NV to begin her career working in a pediatric clinic serving her favorite population, birth - 21, before moving back East to be closer to family. As a therapist, Cathryn especially loves working to find AAC solutions and using thematic language units to incorporate relevant and common concepts to promote language learning for children of Autism, D/HH, genetic syndromes and more!  As such, she is constantly looking for inspiration and new ways to target speech and language development in efforts to tailor therapy to each individual client and their families. Cathryn also has experience serving children with feeding/swallowing difficulties ranging from sensory aversions to more severe physical impairments. Outside of work, Cathryn loves to spend time with her furry family consisting of a dog, Walker, and 2 horses, Nathan and Knox which she loves to take hiking and trail riding.  .   

Chris Kelleigh, MPT

Physical Therapy Team Leader, Christina “Chris” Kelleigh graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a BA in Biology in 1989 and obtained her MS degree in Physical Therapy from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia in 1992. As a military spouse, she has gained a vast array of experience while transferring to various stations as required by her husband’s career. Chris has worked in a wide array of pediatric settings including hospitals/rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, schools, early intervention, aquatic therapy and hippotherapy. She is married and has two wonderful children. Chris enjoys time spent with her family, playing at the beach, and is an avid user of essential oils for the promotion of health and wellness.

Alena Campbell, OTR/L

Occupational Therapy Team Leader, Alena, graduated from Lenoir Rhyne University in 2013 with her M.S. in Occupational Therapy. She joins the Coastline Therapy Group from the mountains of western North Carolina where she grew up and has practiced in outpatient pediatrics for the past five years. Alena has practiced in outpatient clinics, homes, and schools with a variety of ages. She loves getting to truly know the unique personality of each child and guiding experiences that are motivating and empowering to them and their families. Fun fact: She has spent over a decade teaching dance and when she's not being an OT loves to be dancing! 

Heather Stoddard, CCC-SLP

Heather is our SLP Team Leader for School Based Therapists. Heather attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania and earned a B.A. in Communicative Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Psychology.  She continued her education by pursuing a M.A. in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Hampton University.  She completed her clinical fellowship year at Ocala Health and Rehabilitation in Ocala, Florida. She has experience working in early intervention through geriatrics in settings including; skilled nursing facility, acute care, in-patient rehabilitation, school system, and the private clinic.  Heather is happily married and is expecting her first baby in July of 2018. She enjoys playing soccer, fitness, the beach, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Ryan Hogan, OTR/L

Ryan graduated from Sacred Heart University with a B.S in Health Science and later received a M.S. in Occupational Therapy. Ryan Joins Coastline Therapy Group after working in the Rehabilitation outpatient associated with a regional hospital. Ryan brings a wide array of clinical experiences ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics in a variety of settings. Ryan is a kid at heart and you can always find him on the ground with the kids. He brings the attitude to make therapy functional and fun. When not at work you can find Ryan near the water enjoying the outdoors. Fun fact: Ryan is United States Marine Corps Veteran.   

Sarah Ramsey, COTA

Sarah studied Psychology, Business and Life Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and graduated from Cape Fear Community College with a degree in Culinary Arts in 2008, and a degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in 2014. Sarah has worked with individuals throughout the lifespan to put the FUN in FUNCTION and to be as independent as possible in all areas of their lives. Sarah lives in Burgaw, NC with her husband David, and two dogs, Brandy and Jacob.  

Brittney Pierce, COTA

Brittney graduated from Cape Fear Community College in May of 2018. She stumbled across the occupational therapy program unintentionally, and after some research, she fell in love with the profession. She is motivated and excited to help patients reach their goals to improve their overall success in daily occupations. Brittney is happily engaged and has plans to marry her fiancé, Ryan, in September 2019.  

Cheryl Luke, COTA

Cheryl graduated from CFCC in 2013 earning an A.S. in Occupational Therapy. She has been working with the pediatric and geriatric populations in private practice, home and clinical settings. Cheryl enjoys collaborating with clients, and their families, in order to enhance their quality of life and fulfill their potential. She also enjoys the smiles and stories from those she is fortunate enough to work with.  Cheryl also has a degree in drafting and design and enjoyed a successful career before deciding to pursue a degree in OT. Cheryl has one son, Alexander, who is a senior at Appalachian State University this year.  

Elliott Rodgers, COTA

Elliott graduated from UNCW in 2014 with a B.S. in Psychology. In May of 2019, he graduated  from the OTA program at CFCC. He is dedicated to providing services that are centered around patients of all ages by fostering their success through playful and engaging interactions. In his spare time, he enjoys creating music, hiking outdoors and spending quality time with loved ones.

Jeanette Roth, CCC-SLP

Jeanette  graduated from Kean University in New Jersey with both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Speech-Language Pathology. She has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 20 years and has worked with various populations from pediatrics to geriatrics.  During her sessions she uses technology, games, and art to engage her clients while focusing on their goals.  

April Lowe, SLP-A

April graduated from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute (CCC&TI) in 2009 earning an Associates in Applied Science in the area of Speech Language Pathology Assistance. She has been working in the area of  speech pediatrics since 2009 but has worked with children in the school setting since 2004 and in the daycare setting since 2000. April has been married for 21 years and has 3 wonderful children.  

Patricia Rambadt, CCC-SLP

Patti Rambadt graduated from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY with a Masters degree and a Bachelors degree in Speech Language Pathology.  She joined Coastline after retiring from a school district setting where she provided speech-language therapy for pediatric through High School level children.   

Anita Bakula, CCC-SLP

Anita graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Speech Pathology. She loves working with children and has over ten years of experience with this population. Anita and her husband, Rick, have three adult children.  

Sara Klemo, CCC-SLP

After earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky, Sara went on to receive her Masters in Speech Pathology.  She gained a wide variety of experience including rehab, hospital, schools and private practices.  She currently works with Coastline in the schools, clinic and day cares.  Sara lives in Wilmington with her husband and two children. She enjoys volunteering in her children’s classrooms and spending time with family and friends. Sara is passionate about providing quality therapy services and loves working with the best therapy group in Coastal North Carolina.   

Jenny Sheargold, CCC-SLP

Jenny graduated from Auburn University before earning her Masters in Speech Pathology from the University of Central Oklahoma.  She brings 16 years of experience to Coastline Therapy Group including early intervention, private practice, with adults in rehab and hospital settings. Jenny loves working with her clients in our Wilmington clinic and day cares and is thrilled to be part of the wonderful therapy team at Coastline.  She is certified in  SKI – HI; Hanen; and Parkinsons Proficiency.  In her spare time, Jenny enjoys volunteering with the turtle project, traveling with friends and family, kayaking, and square dancing.  

Megan Cartrette, CFY-SLP

Megan is a recent graduate of North Carolina Central University's Communication Disorders Master of Science Program and will be completing her Clinical Fellowship Year at Coastline Therapy Group. She received her undergraduate degree from East Carolina University in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. During her graduate studies, she gained clinical experience in a variety of settings including schools, inpatient hospital, private practice and skilled nursing facility. Originally from Whiteville, She is now enjoying living in Wilmington and enjoying the nearby beaches and scoping out the new restaurants/coffee shops. Megan is not only passionate about helping children to thrive but also working with their family members so that they too may feel equipped to support their children in their development.   

Katie Austin, CCC-SLP

Katie received her B.S. and M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology with minors in Psychology and Anthropology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She has enjoyed building relationships with clients and their families while working in Telepractice, inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation, skilled-nursing facilities, private practice, and school settings in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Katie now lives in gorgeous Wilmington and loves going to the beach, running and hiking, fundraising for non-profits, and spending time with her wonderful husband, Ryan. Compassionate, client-centered care is her motto and she looks forward to working with you!   

Evann Wilson, CFY-SLP

Evann is a recent graduate of North Carolina Central University's Communication Disorders Master of Science Program and will be completing her Clinical Fellowship Year at Coastline Therapy Group. She received her undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in  Psychology. During her graduate studies, she gained clinical experience in a variety of settings including schools, an inpatient hospital, and an adult neurogenic communication group. Prior to attending graduate school, Evann was an SLP-A for three years in a school system in Tennessee. 

Originally from Cookeville, TN, She is now excited to be living in Wilmington and enjoying the nearby beaches and exploring the town. Evann is passionate about providing quality therapy services and enjoys attending trainings and seminars to provide to most up to date therapy to her clients.  

Sarah Brinkley, CCC-SLP

Sarah attended James Madison University where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and minor in Exceptional Education. She continued to pursue her career and education by also obtaining a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Sarah always knew she wanted to be a Speech-Language Pathologist as before she even completed her degrees she worked as an SLP aide in the pediatric setting and as an SLP assistant in between degrees. This only confirmed her desire to help people at all stages in life find a way to have their voice heard. Sarah completed her Clinical Fellowship year and obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competency while working at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Chatham, VA. While Sarah enjoys working with all ages and populations, she found her heart leading her back to where she started in pediatrics and spent the last year working in a developmental pediatric setting where she gained experience working with a variety of children helping to address their speech, language, feeding, and literacy needs. Sarah enjoys working with all populations and collaborating with other disciplines to provide a multidisciplinary therapeutic approach to her patients. When she is not in the clinic Sarah can be found throwing tennis balls down the beach with her Labrador (Dallas) and Golden Retriever (Bentley) or planning trips to visit her family, especially her nephew, in VA.

Meg Schreckengost, CCC-SLP

Meg first discovered Speech-Language Pathology through an aptitude test  and it has been a passion of hers since her first undergraduate course. Meg earned her B.S. in Speech and Hearing Disorders from Edinboro University of PA in 2006 and her M.S. from Longwood University of VA in 2010. Before relocating to NC with her family,  she traveled the country gaining experience with both children and adults in a variety settings including in-patient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long term care, schools, private practice and telepractice. Meg holds a special interest in the adult swallowing disorders and cognitive rehabilitation. She is excited to be a part of a multidisciplinary team and is always eager to learn new and exciting ways to best serve her clients. During her free time, Meg enjoys running, kayaking, biking, yoga, and cooking with her wonderful and loving family. 

Nikki Meza, CCC-SLP

Nikki earned a MS in Speech Language Pathology from California State University, San Marcos where she also received her BS degree in Human Development specializing in Children’s Services with a minor in Psychology. She has experience working with patients from 9 months to 98 years old within a private practice, educational, and inpatient hospital settings. Nikki has also had the opportunity to focus on the care and treatment at a primarily Spanish bilingual elementary school, as well as adults with mild to severe cognitive communication and intellectual disabilities. She has enjoyed giving back to the world of speech language pathology with the supervision of SLPA, undergraduate, and graduate students throughout her career. The last several years, Nikki has focused on the assessment and treatment of feeding disorders, apraxia, and aphasia. Nikki is a California native who recently relocated to NC. She enjoys hiking, working out, playing with dogs, cooking and traveling.

Renea Mellis, PT

Renea graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA  in Biology in 1995 and from East Carolina University with a BS in Physical Therapy in 1997. She has enjoyed working with clients of all ages in a variety of settings including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health, outpatient clinics, schools, and daycares. Renea is passionate about her work and dedicated to helping children and their families achieve their goals. She and her husband, Robbie, have 3 wonderful children, Nick, Ryan, and Callie. Renea loves spending time with her family and friends, days spent at the beach, gardening, cooking with her husband, and adventures with Baxter, the family dog.

Crystal graduated from South College in 2009, earning an Associates of Science in Physical Therapy. She has enjoyed working with the pediatric and geriatric populations in a variety of settings, including the school system, home health, outpatient clinic, assisted living and memory care. Crystal enjoys relaxing at the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends. 

Shelly Dillon, PT

Shelly is a native North Carolinian, and has been practicing Physical Therapy for over 20 years. She earned an undergraduate degree at UNC Chapel Hill and completed her Master of Physical Therapy degree from East Carolina University. After initially working in western NC, she relocated to Delaware for 18 yrs. There, she gained experience in a variety of settings and helped clients of all ages reduce their pain, recover from surgeries, and regain or retrain movement to enable return to activities, sports, and quality of life.  Shelly is excited to bring her experience back to NC and continue her passion of helping others reach their wellness and performance goals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, helping at Open Hands Farm in Castle Hayne, exercising and taking walks on the beach.

Rebecca Harper, PTA

Becca graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 2016 with an Associates degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has since worked with the pediatric population in a variety of settings, including the school system, outpatient clinics, home care, early intervention, developmental daycare, and more. Becca is passionate about her calling to work with children and families to achieve their goals. She is happily married to her husband, Jordan, and enjoys spending time with their dogs. 

Chad Holderness, PTA

Chad a multiple sport athlete with experience playing collegiate club lacrosse and Semi-Pro football while graduating from UNCW. Chad gained over 5 years full time work experience with an Orthopedic and Sports Rehab Physical Therapy office where he learned extensive manual techniques, and critical thinking skills addressing complex sports injuries with and from an US Olympic team level Physical Therapist. Chad attended Martin CC to attain his PTA license, during this time he worked as a Sports Performance Coach and trainer at Fitness Unlimited in Washington NC.  Chad currently serves as Head Strength and Conditioning Director at Coastal Athletics an indoor sports complex.  Chad’s treatment style blends: addressing functional deficits with specific progressional movements while targeting overall awareness in the body and using manual techniques to accomplish targeted goals with an ability to empower each patient individually in their rehabilitation process through Patient education and an open communication loop.  When off work Chads life is fulfilled by time with his daughter and wife or chasing his next outdoor or offshore adventure.
